Our History

From a humble beginning, the first branch of Hope Marie Academy was established in the year 1995 at AuntieAku within the Sowutoum community– a suburb of Santa Maria in the Anyaa Ablekuma Municipality, Accra.

After eleven years of delivering quality education and producing graduates and leaders of godly character for mother Ghana and the world at large, the Christian Hope School located at Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality was founded in the year 2006 as Hope Marie Academy annex.

By the grace of God and the hard work of some astute members of staff, another branch of Hope Marie Academy was opened at Fise in the year 2009.

Today, the school has two other branches – Hope Marie Academy, Pokuase Abessey and Kofi Kwei branches respectively; bringing the total number of Hope Schools branches to five (5).

The Fise branch of Hope Schools is the biggest among all the branches with the most population.

The school in partnership with the Catholic Education Unit welcome all basic six graduates annually to affiliated JHS.  The basic six learners are graduated annually and transited smoothly to sister Junior High Schools under the auspices of the Catholic Education Unit of Ghana across all the five branches of Hope schools.

Today, the school can boast of many renowned personalities and leaders in the medical field, banking and finance sectors, security services, manufacturing industries, Sports, governance and politics, Religious and entertainment sectors, etc.

Hopes schools continue to provide extra ordinary practical pre-tertiary education that aims at developing the dream Ghanaian child holistically to become a global citizen, through Jesus Christ.

Hope Schools! All for Christ.
